Pacific Academy is seeking a passionate and flexible ADST/STEM teacher to join our Intermediate School (Grades 3-5). This is a 0.2 FTE position, spread across three days (Tuesday to Thursday), covering 8 blocks. This position will commence in August 2026 and continue through June 30, 2027.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity and a love for science, technology, engineering, and math while integrating a biblical worldview into their teaching. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and a willingness to support other classes as needed across grade levels. We value collaborative, mission-minded educators who are committed to nurturing students both academically and spiritually. 

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:
● Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
● Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
● Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
● Have experience working in an elementary education environment. Experience working with special needs children would be an asset
● Be a team player
● Be fluent in oral and written English
● Experience teaching ADST classes and guiding students through Design Thinking processes is considered an asset

Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, temporary position as a Middle School Teacher. This position will commence in August 2026 and continue through June 30, 2027.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:

• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
• Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (i.e. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
• Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Learning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies and Outdoor Education)

Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a part-time position as a High School Science teacher, with a primary focus on Chemistry. This position commences in August, 2026. The successful candidate should be able to teach Biology and Mathamatics.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:

• Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
• Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Have experience and/or a willingness to be trained to teach IB Science Courses
• Ability to teach Chemistry and Math would be an asset
