Middle School Teacher (Grade 6 through 8) – 0.5 FTE Temporary position
Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a 0.5 FTE part-time, temporary Middle School Teacher position. This position will commence in August 2026 and continue through June 30, 2027.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should:
- Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
- Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
- Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
- Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (ie. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
- Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Leaning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies and Outdoor Education)
