Intermediate School Music Teacher (Grades 3 & 4) – 0.6 FTE Continuing position
Pacific Academy is requesting applications from qualified individuals for a part-time Intermediate School (Grade 3 & 4) Music Teacher position commencing August 27, 2026.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should:
- Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
- Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
- Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
- Possess training and/or experience in choral instruction and music education
- Demonstrate experience directing children’s choirs
- Support and contribute to chapel worship
- Contribute to curriculum development and program planning
- Work collaboratively as an effective member of the Intermediate School teaching team
- Demonstrate strong oral and written English communication skills
- Ability to teach basic ukulele and recorder instruction is considered an asset
- Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate in the planning and implementation of Grade 3–5 musical productions and other Intermediate School Fine Arts events
The successful candidate will also demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of a grade 3 – 5 Musical Production and other Intermediate School Fine Arts events.
