High School Science Teacher (Grade 9 through 12) - 0.8 FTE Temporary position (Tentative)

Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a part-time position as a High School Science teacher, with a primary focus on Chemistry. This position commences in August, 2026. The successful candidate should be able to teach Biology and Mathamatics.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates should:

Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
Be fluent in oral and written English
Have experience and/or a willingness to be trained to teach IB Science Courses
Ability to teach Chemistry and Math would be an asset
