High School

Summit Outdoor Leadership 10 is a “school-within-a-school” model offered in the first semester.  Students learn through an experiential approach using traditional in-class coursework alongside outdoor adventure and outreach trips. In-class work involves a problem and project-based approach, integrated into all subject areas. Specific backcountry skills are taught for each trip.  A series of real and challenging obstacles naturally found in the outdoors become the background by which students learn about themselves and the world around them.
