Middle School Administrator – 1.0 FTE Continuing

Pacific Academy is seeking a dynamic, educational leader with a proven record of exemplary teaching and leadership for September 2019. The successful applicant will work collaboratively as part of the leadership team at Pacific Academy.  The posting will close on Monday, April 1, 2019 @ 4pm with short listing and interviews to follow later in April. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate personal accountability and professional growth
  • Implement innovative practices for student success
  • Efficiently and effectively lead the middle school – in all areas including - education, spiritual, financial and organizational
  • Support a continued shift from outcomes-based education to competency-based education
  • Use relevant data to engage in instructional practices for improved student achievement
  • Have a master’s degree from a recognized university, be working toward a Master’s degree or have relevant administrative experience
  • Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
  • Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
  • Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
  • Be fluent in oral and written English
