One of the most special times for both students and teachers is our chapel time. Students in Kindergarten through Grade Two meet in the primary open area. All our chapels are teacher led and there is much student participation. Students are encouraged to have a reverent attitude and to always respect the rights of others to worship. Each year our beginning chapels focus on the plan of salvation. There are several distinctive chapels during the year including our Advent Chapel, and Creation Day Chapel.
In addition, each class in the Primary School is involved in a team outreach project. Kindergarten students reach out to two physically and mentally challenged adults who come to the school to read with the children and visit.
Grade One and Two classes visit intermediate care centres where they sing, read and share with their adopted grandparents.
