In conjunction with the goals of Pacific Academy, the Pacific Academy outreach program encourages students to be actively involved in missions throughout their lives. The outreach program serves to enable students to participate in reaching out to their communities and the world through missions. The student that attends Pacific Academy will, from Primary on, be exposed to a variety of mission opportunities: Primary outreach to seniors; Intermediate School outreach to the Pacific Academy community; Middle School outreach to local communities; High School short term overseas outreach and local outreach.
The Outreach program of Pacific Academy aims to:
enable students to express their faith
enable students to defend his/her faith
develop compassion for the underprivileged
prepare students for lifelong ministry of outreach
be understanding and aware of world needs
have students participate in the great commission as it relates to "going into all the world"
enlarge the student's worldview re: developing countries and the poor
help students think through the issues of poverty and economics facing third world and developing countries
